North Somerset Young Carers Service works to support young carers between 5 & 25 years and their families by offering a range of support services, advice and information.
A young carer is someone who consistently provided care for another family member. The responsibilities undertaken by young carers could include practical or emotional support for a parent or sibling. Depending on the nature of the support provided these could have emotional, behavioural, physical and/or social impacts on the young people concerned.
We offer therapeutic group support, trips, activities, workshops, one-to-one, support in schools, advocacy, information and advice, residential weekends, counselling along with awareness raising
