Support Worker

We are looking for a Support Worker with a sense of fun and a positive attitude who is interested in supporting a 29 year old young woman who lives in her own home.  She is a wheelchair user and hoisted for all transfers.  She loves music and animals and enjoys going out to social activities and clubs in the community.  She has an infectious sense of humour and is lovely to work with.

You will need to be able to lone work as well as work within a team of 6.  You will have regular supervison, training and support.  

A key part of this role supporting this young woman is promoting her independence with daily living skills and in the community, as well as supporting her personal care needs.

A car driver is preferred and you need to be comfortable and happy helping this client looking after her young cat.

Due to health needs we are looking for a non smoking female.

The post is for a variety of shift pattersn over a 4 week rota.  This will include a mixture of day, weekend and night shifts.
