Support Worker

I’m a 44 year old male support worker and for the last two and a half years I have worked for a private family who’s young son has Cerebral Palsy, but now looking for a new full time employed position.

My Main duties are assisting with their everyday needs including there personal care, peg feeding and giving controlled drugs also demonstrating I can clearly communicate and know what their wants and needs are as their support worker.

I plan and deliver social outings/daytrips for them and for other team members to go on, I have the responsibility of looking after the petty cash and reporting the balance to the case manager.

I deputise for the team leader in there absence and ensure we stay compliant.

I am very reliable and loyal member of the team.

I have a paediatric first aid certificate, along with other certificates relevant to working in this setting.

I've achieved a nvq level 3 apprenticeship in health and social care.
