Personal Care Assistant in Complex Care

I have worked in care for 13 years, 3 of which have been in complex care.  I have my NVA 2 in Health and Social Care. I have experience of hoisting, tracheostomy care, non invasive ventilation, suctioning, cough assist and nebuliser.  I also have experience in cathetar care.  Over the last 3 years, I have worked for 2 clients who have been funded under the NHS Personal Health Care Budget that was managed by Partners to Care.  1 client had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and a learning disability and the other had advanced Multiple Sclerosis and was tetraplegic.  Both were confined to wheelchairs and needed assistance with feeding. I have experience in waking nights.
