Goblin Combe Environment Centre

Goblin Combe Environment Centre is an independent charity committed to helping everyone to achieve their potential through experience in the natural environment. The Centre is situated in a rural location near Cleeve, the Grade II listed school building, residential centre and woodland is available to hire for your own activities. 

We offer a range of programmes that we deliver in our own 130 acres of beautiful woodland or in your school grounds.

All of our activities are led buy suitably experience, qualifies and enthusiastic staff.

Our programmes

We work hard at Goblin Coombe to provide challenging and stimulating programmes that take learning outside of the class room. We are committed to providing high quality programmes at a cost that is affordable.

Whether a session is used to launch a new scheme of work, as a mid term energiser or and end of term round up a visit to Goblin Coombe is sure to stay in everyone's minds long after the group have retuned home.

How to get to Goblin Combe Environment Centre: Grid reference: 459654From M5 Motorway exit at Junction 21, join the A370 and follow signs to Bristol. After approximately 6 miles you will come to the village of Cleeve. Turn right immediately after the "Lord Nelson" public house into Cleeve Hill Road.From Bristol follow the Cleeve. Turn left into Cleeve Hill Road immediately before the "Lord Nelson" public house.Then follow Cleeve Hill Road until the junction with Plunder Street on the left. Looking along Plunder Street the Environment Centre (an old school building) can be clearly seen. Parking for the Centre is available in the Quarry car park, which is 50 meters further along Cleeve Hill Road on the left-hand side. Please use the Quarry car park when visiting the centre.
