T.S. Enterprise (Avonmouth Sea Cadets)

The Sea Cadet Corps (SCC) is a UK cadet force, that follows the rank structure, traditions, skills of the Royal Navy (we are not controlled or directly funded by the Royal Navy)
 
The activities of the Sea Cadet Corps include sail training, powerboating, windsurfing and dinghy sailing. Non-waterborne activities include drill (marching), physical training, cooking, shooting and communications, first aid and engineering. However many more activities and courses are carried out:

                      Seamanship (rope work)

National courses are also held, often on Royal Navy bases, to teach skills such as leadership and teamwork. Other courses include power-boating, cooking and flying.
 
The SCC owns and operates a tall ship TS Royalist, which is also the flagship of the Sea Cadet Corps. The SCC also owns a number of other training ships, such as TS John Jerwood, and two yachts. Many of our cadets have taken cruises on one or both vessels.

£2 per session. Some trips have a small cost to cover food and bed (typically £10-30)
