What are the funding options?

We are pleased to offer funded sessions to children using their Early Years entitlement. We offer eligible 2 year old funded sessions. Families can also choose to pay for sessions to enable their child to attend Nursery before their funding begins.

The statutory entitlement of Early Years Education funding for three and four year olds enables children to access up to 570 hours of funded Early Years Education over 38 weeks of the year, this starts the term after a child’s third birthday. Families who are eligible for the extended entitlement can access an additional 570 hours, starting the term after eligibility has been confirmed.

There are a variety of ways of using your funding at Ellenborough Park Preschool

You can choose the combination of days and session patterns that suits you and your child if availability allows. All funded sessions are free of charge for 38 weeks of the year, children are offered a healthy snack during Morning & Afternoon sessions free of charge. Parents are required to provide a packed lunch.

If you would like your child to start before their funding begins, or you would like sessions in addition to their funding, there will be a cost. Please contact Ellenborough Park for more information around fees.

We welcome you to contact us to enquire about spaces or to answer questions you may have and to arrange a visit to our setting, we look forward to hearing from you.

Local offer

At Ellenborough Park Preschool, we want all children to achieve their very best, to flourish and grow into confident individuals and to be able to live fulfilling lives.

We aim to make sure that children, and their parents participate as fully as possible in decisions that affect them. We also aim to provide support to children and both their parents and families so that children acheive their full potential educationally and can prepare properly for transitions into primary school.

Our Preschool SENCO/INCCO is Hannah Thorne.

For a child with special educational needs and/or disabilities, the request for childcare at Ellenborough Park Preschool will be treated no less favourably than applications for places for other children, because of his/her special educational need - but admission will be agreed based on the child’s requirements, our abilities or staffing numbers, and the number of children with special needs and disabilities currently attending the setting.
