Wellspring Counselling provides a unique afforable and professional Counselling service in the North Somerset area for both adults and young people age 11-18. Counselling for adults is affordable for all, with sliding scale fees based on income, and more than half of our clients on benefits paying a small amount for each session. Sessions for 11-18 year olds are donation-based with a minimum donation of £10 per session.

Clients can refer themselves to the service or may wish to seek advice from their GP before phoning for a first appointment.   We have excellent links with the local GPs and usually use premises at Tower House in Nailsea for evening sessions.

We are well respected in the area and receive some funding from local councils, churches and trusts in North Somerset as well as some national funding charities such as The Naiotjnla Lottery, MIND, CAF and Quartet Community Foundation. The rest of Wellspring funding for sessions comes from other generous donations and fundrasing events.

Wellspring has a team of professional Counsellors who are trained to listen attentively and sensitively to your concerns and who will give you the time and space to talk freely. They will not give you advice, offer solutions or tell you what to do, but will seek to understand your difficulties feelings and help you to find a way forward with your concerns.

Wellspring's Wellbeing Practitioners are all trained by Exeter University and qualified in evidence-based CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) as part of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) initiative.

Wellspring's Admin office is still open from 1.30-4.30pm on Mondays, 9.30am to 4.30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
