Supporting disabled people to access the latest digital technology
Digital technology can make things easier for everyone. But if you have a disability, it can do even more. It can make things possible – like communicating with your family for the first time, or applying for that job you’ve always wanted. And as technology develops, more and more possibilities will unfold.
But there are many disabled people who are missing out, often because they don’t have the know-how or the right equipment. Leonard Cheshire’s Go Digital programme supports disabled people to access the digital world, providing training and support together with the latest in accessible technology.
Is Go Digital for me?
Go Digital supports people across the UK with any type of disability. Whether you know absolutely nothing about computers or are already a digital whizz, we’ll tailor our support to suit you.
We can provide support in your own home, at care homes and we also have a number of accessible IT centres across the country.
We also provide organisations and training centres that support disabled people with accessible IT equipment, helping them to become more inclusive.
