We offer a range of free support groups in North Somerset for mums with babies and for mums-to-be who may be feeling isolated, anxious, worried about parenting or experiencing low mood. You can refer yourself or, you can speak to your healthcare professional (midwife, health visitor, family support worker etc) to make a referral. All of our groups provide a safe, friendly, non-judgemental environment led by skilled and experienced staff. New terms start regularly – please see our website for full details.
Bringing Baby Home For pregnant mums from 28 weeks
A non-clinical group helping mums-to-be to build confidence in their parenting skills; topics include baby care, making the transition to parenthood and physical and emotional changes.
Baby Massage For mums and their babies age 4wks-6mths
An introduction to baby massage in a relaxing environment. Learn gentle techniques to use at home, new songs to enjoy together and meet other new mums for a chat.
Mums in Mind For mums and their babies age under-1
At Mums in Mind we share experiences, explore wellbeing topics, enjoy simple art activities and try out relaxation techniques. Take time out to reflect on the transition into motherhood and talk with other mums who get it!
Baby & Toddler Group For mums, babies & toddlers 0-4
All mums with babies and toddlers are welcome to join us for some fun stretches, singing and free play. Advice and support around parenting issues are available from our group worker Mel. Booking for a term preferred but drop-ins also welcome.
