We are a 60 place Nursery set within Ashcombe Children's Centre. The purpose built premises opened in September 2006 and we offer care and education for children from two years to five years. In April 2013 we were inspected by Ofsted and awarded with 'Outstanding' in all areas, we achieved the 'Outstanding' grading again in July 2019!
We aim to provide a happy, secure and stimulating environment which is sensitive to the needs of all our children and families. At Ashcombe Nursery we value and nurture childrens' curiosity and creativity.
We offer three hour sessions in our play rooms for children entitled to the Nursery Education Grant and 2 year old funding.
We have three play rooms for the children offering a provision for children from two to three year olds and three to four year old pre-school children.
Each play room has its own garden area and we also benefit from a large outdoor canopied community area that the children can access in all weathers. The nursery also provides nutritionally balanced, home made meals cooked on the site and healthy drinks and snacks.
