One Voice: The West of England Inclusive Choir

Part of the Soundabout Inclusive Choir Network.

In partnership with Soundabout, North Somerset Music Service, South Glos Music Hub and B&NES Music Hub, One Voice: The West of England Inclusive Choir is open to everyone who enjoys expressing themselves through music.

One Voice is a place where young people of all abilities can enjoy making music, using their voice, an instrument or assistive technology. We also use Makaton signing to help everyone participate.

One Voice aims to remove barriers to participation for those with severe and profound learning and physical disabilities. We create a safe space, where everyone can contribute in their own way. We sing songs chosen by our members, with each song being designed so that everyone can be involved in their own way.

Sessions are held every other Sunday, from 11am until 12 noon. Most sessions are online, using Zoom. We meet in person twice each school term.

New members are welcome any time, membership is free and you don’t need to be able to read music.
