The Meeting Point

The Meeting Point is open in Backwell Parish Hall every Tuesday from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm, offering a wide range of information and contacts and a variety of activities. We provide a community hub, where people of all ages can meet to socialise (with tea, coffee and cake), access a range of services and support and where small groups can gather. There's an occasional speaker slot with talks on numerous helpful topics.

We have internet access for those wishing to use it or to be helped to use it, and vouchers for the Clevedon Foodbank and its distribution centre in Nailsea. There's a regular lunch club. Crafts and other activities are provided for younger children (with parents) during school holidays.

Computer support is available most Tuesday mornings including help with using the NHS App at Backwell Parish Hall from 11am-12.30pm.  Come along and learn new skills to help you search the internet, send emails, shop online and communicate with family and friends via Facebook/Skype or Face time.

This is a community initiative, started by a group of Christians in Backwell and run by the registered charity, Backwell Life.
