The job of the Equality and Human Rights Commission is to create a fairer Britain and a society without prejudice, to raise awareness of your rights and implement an effective legislative framework for the future.

 

Our job:

  • To protect individuals against discrimination, to enforce the laws on equality and to promote fairness and human rights for everyone
  • What to do about discrimination on the grounds of disability, age, gender, religion or belief, sexual orientation or race
