Cerebra

Cerebra are a UK charity dedicated to providing practical help, information and support to parents and carers of children up to the age of 16 who have a brain related disability.  

Conditions that we class as ‘brain related’ are wide ranging and include genetic, congenital conditions, neuromotor conditions, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, ADHD, EMB conditions, conditions on the Autistic Spectrum, Acquired brain injury (due to injury or infection), Epilepsy, Global Developmental Delay, Learning Difficulties (with or without specific diagnosis), ME/CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), and neurodegenerative conditions.
 
It’s free to sign up to Cerebra.  Cerebra provide a range of free services to our parent members including specialist advice on our HelpLine 0800 328 1159, a Stress Counselling Helpline on 0800 043 9385, publications, fact sheets, a step by step guide to completing the DLA claim form, a grants scheme, voucher schemes for Speech and Language Therapy, voucher schemes for Wills and Trusts, E-learning courses for parents, Sleep Advice service, a Postal Lending Library of toys and literature,  a holiday home in Wales, and a Personal Portfolio (or talking book) service.
